Welcome to the Metaverse!

Our study on the metaverse entitled “Luxe Metamorphosis” aims to a step back from the announcement made by Mark Zuckerberg on October 28, 2021. It must be noted that he succeeded in popularizing the term “Metaverse”, giving it a new boost, and sending out a strong digital signal: an event that formalizes, de facto, an unprecedented transition between Web2 and Web3.

This statement is the signal of a “war” among the powerful GAFAM, the giants of Asian tech, from Alibaba to Baidu through Tencent, without forgetting the innovative start-ups of Silicon Valley. A “David versus Goliath” battle is shaping up on the chessboard of a new decentralized and immersive web, where each entity is placing its pawns: virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, etc.

The metaverse world is a strong emerging trend that crystallizes new uses, new technologies and new digital territories to be apprehended, a crossroads that has been building for 20 years, accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Luxe Metamorphosis”, our 150-page study (in English), is based on an objective analysis of events, highlighted with various observations and insights. This study is intended for luxury professionals who are wondering about the relevance of investing in these new digital spaces in the short or long term. It also provides a mapping to help them find their way in the different universes that make up this “multiverse”: 4 thematic “continents” subdivided into as many “regions” that correspond to the different typologies (uses, audiences, infrastructures, etc.) of the metaverse. It is therefore a real “GPS” tool for companies wishing to move towards the metaverse.


We present the key elements of the e-book during a 1-hour masterclass, either face-to-face (according to COVID standards) or remotely (Teams or Zoom session, at your convenience), in French or in English.

The recommended format: 45 minutes of presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A with the participants for an initial introduction.
